My first photographs from the ‘Vices and Virtues’ assignment. I decided I would focus on the vice ‘waste’, because it has become such an issue today and I thought it would be interesting to represent through the use of the studio. I decided that taking objects out of their natural context would cause people to appreciate details they may not have seen before.
I have found some strange objects so far, one of the strangest being the bundle of magazines that were abandoned in one of the rougher areas of Leeds. I can’t wait to pursue this idea further, and hope to achieve the results I originally anticipated when I first arrived with the idea.
